So, here we are. On our Republican Road to Nowhere. We must change this. Now. RIGHT NOW!!! I know it is Sunday and not Caturday at all, but I couldn't make Cat and Sunday work together without sounding..... well, without sounding bad. Caturday Roundup on Sunday; go with it. CNN reports Alaska's Road to Nowhere is now open for business! Literally!

... This week, the state completed a $25 million gravel road that was intended to lead up to the bridge linking the city of Ketchikan to its airport on a neighboring island.

The bridge project became the symbol of federal largess, and Congress eventually dropped the earmark for the bridge.

Speaking of "federal largess", CNN also reports "Paulson urges a 'clean and quick' Ok" for Congress to sign on to the Republicans Economic Blank Check 'Road to Nowhere'.

How stupid do they think we are? NO!!! Hell NO!!!

After all this news of the day and the CLEAR choice that we cannot afford to take our beloved country any further down this "Republican Road to Nowhere", I am going to join TLG and TT over at the "Fighting Liberals" and begin phone banking. I have donated money, but now this rises to the level that we must do more. No, I don't have time for this, BUT I'm going to MAKE the time because THIS is too important to NOT make the time.
